Portability
I do live near a large city (Austin, Tx) and don't have a cell, my wife does with AT&T. That has to be the most convulated system I've ever read about. The best program, in this area, with the best benefits (minutes vs cost) is T-Mobile. The problem? Their nationwide network is not the greatest. If they do join a combine and buy GSM network, it will probably be the best.
