Former Successful Marketing Campaign
A number of years ago, I worked for a small marketing/consulting company - they only handled tech companies for clients.

We devised a highly successful marketing campaign that Gateway suggested. This involved low-tech one-on-one programs and classes for newbies to computers: seniors, first time users etc. We even had these hugh flip-charts for the Girl and Boy Scouts!

There were great write ups as far away as California on how successful this program was (we're in Texas). It was working.

Then all of a sudden it all stopped. Cold. Dead-in-the-water. Why would you stop a successful, money generating program?

I guess a year later, the infamous 'looks like the bottom of a urinal' logo replaced the old one. Anyone notice that's gone now too?

I have no idea what the powers-to-be were thinking , but I think I can safely say they were wrong.
