Apple turns on faster portables

NASA does use Macs: Sorry ShadeTree but NASA uses all sorts of computers, including
Macs. A move was afoot years ago to standardize on PCs but
was shot down. Many tasks simply work better on a Mac and
total cost of ownership was something the administration
couldn't ignore. Now it's pretty much up to the user to make the
