Lots of devices...
...have lithium polymer batteries in them. I am not seeing anything new with this story. Anth Lithium Ion batteries don't explode because they are Lithium Ion, they short because the way sony designed and manufactured their batteries. If it was a problem with the design of the lithium ion batteries, than every one of them would be burning up and/or exploding. Stop spreading fud.
