- Profit
- So? Profit is how a company estimates its success and effectiveness and the rightness of what they're doing. They know that customers like recycling programs, so they implement them. Acme Software Company finds out customers like feature XYZ, so they implement it. What's the difference? Either way, the purpose is to get people to like and buy their products, but that's what they (the company) are supposed to be doing, isn't it?
