Xbox modders can want this and MS that
But nothing ensures that either complies with the other. It's MS's product first and the purchasers' item thereafter. So, MS doesn't have to build it to someone elses' specifications, nor bless someone else's code. As far as when it gets to the end user, besides a lot of legal B.S. that a number of companies slap on their equipment, the end-user should and can still do a number of things to the device, including skeet shooting it or modding - and with full knowledge that such actions void any semblance of warranty and/or rebate.

Sending code along to wipe out an end-user mod seems low, even if in permissiable in the EULA legal. If Sony were to have done that to Bleem users, what kind of ugliness would that have raised, . . . the same as it should for MS and Xbox. Block them from server logon, maybe, but wipe and rewrites, not cool in the least.

Ppl have to stop buying products that they know has this wording in the user agreement (point of sales). It's not like they trust Microsoft, . . yet this will come as some angry surprise. .

Oh, and don't mod and market your Aibo tweaks and behaviors. Sony will cease and desist you as well, or use to. Oh Nintendo, your pure simplicity and refined design keep you from so much turmoil.
