I realize you were just being sarcastic, but ...

Hardware is hardware. If you have purchased an XBox, you should be able to do darn well whatever you want (or don't want) with it.

If someone wants to go to the trouble of running Linux on an XBox, more power to them. Me, I'll stick to playing HALO and keep Linux on an old PC, where it is easier to work with. I'm really not sure why anyone wants to go to all the trouble just to use Linux on an XBox; I suspect that it is because it is a MS product and it's just fun to thumb their noses at MS in this way.

If MS doesn't LIKE people hacking the XBox to run Linux, maybe they should release their own O/S for the XBox and compete freely in the marketplace.
