"the price of video cards has been going insane in the last few years"
They're cheaper then ever. Sure the "flagship" products are $500 but the low-end cards are $100 for something which was unthinkable a few years ago.
PS: $500 for a card with 768Mb of DDR3 and 128 CPUs isn't exactly expensive. A single Intel/AMD CPU can cost more than that and all the supercomputing peope I know are wetting their pants at how *cheap* a GeForce 8800 is compared to what they have at the moment. - Posted by: jinko Posted on: 12/01/06 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
