Not everyone lives in the big city
I have lived in a small rural town in Texas for almost 3 years and had to give up my dial up almost immediately after moving here. The connection was horrible. My mobile phone barely works. You have to subscribe to satellite just to get television stations. I was saving for a satellite connection to the Internet when a wireless service came to our town and what a wonderful service it is! The installation was 1/3 the cost of satellite and the monthly subscription is less expensive as well. It is hard to believe with all the technology available that there are still some places in the US unable to take advantage.
