It is officially over...
Sun has officially been put out of its misery. I was heartened to read Steve Ballmer dispell any notions work partnering with Sun, emphasizing that they are still competitors. My rep and I were concerned Microsoft would be brought under the influence of a company that makes inherently insecure and poorly scalable software. We were both relieved to know that Microsoft will continue to innovate at the speed of light and crush Linux in the process.
