That comment is so lame that it's not even funny. AMD also has plants in Germany and in Austin, TX which is where their corporate office is located (I think, hehe). Anyway, the point is that it is the 21st century we are living in a GLOBAL market place. Protectionism is bullsh*t and does not work. For any semi-large company to be sucessful in this day and age they have to be globally aware or they will NOT survive. Period.
