I'll say it again
This is the opportunity AMD has been waiting for. Memory prices are on the rise, PC shipments are up sharply, AMD beat Intel to the 64-bit desktop by at least two years, Intel is predicting shortages of Pentium chips -- and OEMs will increasingly turn to AMD to fill the need that Intel ignored or can't serve. This is AMD's chance to entrench itself more deeply in the mindshare and market share of the PC industry.

Now that Intel has lost the numbers that would have been provided by the Xbox2, AMD might be headed for 30 or 35% of the processor market in the next few years.

AMD is the perfect antidote to the lumbering, sloth-like Intel.
