Dell makes awesome.
I'm not even kidding. They seriously make some of the best notebooks on the market, at remarkable prices. I've always gone with Dell. My Dell Dimension 8300 came from an era where Dell was legitimately critiqueable. They were plastic, flimsy and didn't age gracefully. My Dimension 8300 was still a fantastic computer, as it did everything I needed and told it to do... but there were flaws. Such as my USB ports dying. Such as my case falling apart due to excessive travelling. Such as it's inability to recognize USB devices before entering Windows.

That's not today's Dell. Today's Dell builds a solid, reliable, balanced computer. My Inspiron E1705 is a great laptop, I don't at all regret the fact that I paid Dell for this laptop. It's fast, it's wonderful and it's a vast improvement over the Kenner toys they had before. Seriously, why slag a company when it's recognized it's mistakes, and has done a dynamite job to clean up?

Or am I wasting my time talking to an anti-Dell drone who will provide no useful or intelligent feedback?
