You dont have to wait for the CEO

I appreciate the sentiment that the decision needs to come from the CEO CTO CFO, top down. This is certainly important. But... you dont have to wait! Simple steps by many individuals will make the difference. Just turn off your computer and monitor at the end of the day - or Hibernate. It's like the various cities that are starting to ratify the World Kyoto Protocol on Global Warming - they got tired of waiting for the federal government to sign on, and just started doing it themselves.
