It's all about consumer manipulation of the technically clueless by the marketeers.
Sales of PS3, Ipod, Xbox etc. are no different than the sale of $200 tennis shoes endorsed by some ghetto rat. If you get some dumbazz person that gets air time to stand up and tell people how great some POS device is, and that you can't live without it, the sheep bend over and take it up the butt, because they are braindead.
