Here's a question

If you have the harddrive do you still need a memory card to play that games. That's my biggest gripe with Sony.

Nothing ticks a customer off more than forking a bunch of dollars for a console only to fine you need to spend $50 more for memory card that does nothing but allow you play 99% of the games. Some games will allow you play with out saving I suppose but none of the ones I had do.

You should just be able to buy the console go home rent a few games and be off an playing. A memory card should be part of the console. If you want spares then buy one but the intial one should be part of console like digital cameras.
