Hmmmm I think it is universally excepted that a "new"

console is suppose or expected to sell at a loss. Now later I don't
know. Did the original XBox ever sell at a profit? What about the
PS2? Anyone know? Howver it is expected that true profit comes
eventually from games and at least in the past the PS2 had it all
over the Xbox. I don't know about the XBox 360 how many games
are out there for it? And the question is how many profitable
games will be made for the PS3?
