Same Sony game, different console
it's not a new tune for Sony to sing. Promise a lot, delay, temper reports of shortfalls, get demand way beyond supply, keep consumers frothing at the mouth to get, watch eBay prices to gauge the feeding frenzy (2 - 4 times the buying price to get hold of a unit) for those most have it on the release month people. It doesn't hurt Sony. No competitor has this unit, Nintendo has it's own loyal following, and the Xbox360 is a year older and not contending with the 'Future Proofing' Sony's putting on its PS3.

Now let's hope they did fine tune the units, they perform better than past new units (heat, cheap, and breaking apart), and that they play everything they've been forcasted to.
