IBM says their new
super computer will use Opteron and become the fastest in the world due HT3 and the use of Cell processors (GP-GPU). Cray also anounced a new Opteron based computer and FPGA's connected with HT3 similar to IBM's new entry.

Due to HT3 and GP-GPU's, AMD will soon own the server market. And when this design hits the desktop, Intel won't be able to keep up.
