To everyone
I know some of you are tried of me saying this. But enough already. There is an attitude on these posts and if a company is big, successful and used by the masses it must be bad.

I have nine Dell computers in my office, each with an Intel chip. All have been up and running for almost two years. Had one service call on one machine because of a faulty sound card. Other chips may be faster for games--but we work, our games are limited to those that come with Windows, which also works very well.

I had a Dell server, and it worked well for two years and had a major failure. I now have a HP Server and use my Dell replacement server as backup.

I am not an IT professional--I am just the guy who got designated as the computer expert in the office. By using namebrand products I have been able to thwart all virus attacks for the past two years, had no serious downtime.

I have one AMD box that I use for Video editing--dual processor. Works well, a little noisy, but it works.

My point--stop the name calling. Stop the foolishness. Big and successful are not always bad.
