because the CPU is NOT the system. Intel makes soem very nice and STABLE chipsets for their machines. sure they've had probalem with the 820 and all, but the 865 is a great chipset. Even if AMD's CPUs are better, they don't make their own chipsets and make of the companies that do, make designs that are mroe concerned with performance than stability (VIA, for example).
Don't get me wrong, i would continue to buy AMD for my personal use, but Intel based CPUs are usually more stable, due to most of the people who sell AMD, attach cheap parts to them and well.. i don't have time to be custom building systems fro my whole agency.
