Don't you mean DELL's first Quad Core servers?
I believe Apple has already shipped a Quad-core server. To
quote their site:
"The fifth-generation Xserve is packed with features designed to
meet your needs. Powered by the dual-core Intel ?Woodcrest?
Xeon processor running at up to 3.0GHz."
Quad core, 64-bit, 2.25 TB internal, 1.33 GHz FSB, PCI Express,
up to 32 GB RAM ... OK, sorry, starting to brag. Make sure you
check the licence limitations before you start comparing - or
compare to a Dell running Linux.
