Treo 600 GSM units don't work

Palm's dirty little secret is that their GSM phone doesn't work at all. They are having units returned in droves and they can't even begin to ship replacement units.

The problem is that the phone doesn't work. What you end up with is a $600 PDA / Blackberry.

Not a very good deal for those of us stupid enough to trust AT&T and Palm out on the bleeding edge.

Potential customers would be wise to read the forums on TreoCentral and AT&T's own support website before risking their own money on this poorly engineered gadget.
