Or maybe they learned too much...
Not the consumers, but the companies. If they act like it's 1999, maybe they'll profit like it's 1999. Yahoo and RIM lost a lot of value, and had lots of declining profit after the dot.com bubble burst; However I'm pretty sure there were alot of executives in those companies who made ALOT of money in stock options before the bust. Meanwhile, there are plenty of suckers born every minute. Regular people who think on cashing in on the rise in stock, people trying to make back their loses from 3 years ago; and people who are just plain suckers. Sure stocks will rise again, but anyone caught up again in another bubble, even if it is smaller, are playing with fire. I know many, more people who lost money in the dotcom stock bubble than made money.
