They still think of the old K6 chips
They weren't that good but then it's been what, 7-8 years since those were used.

First impression have a lasting effect. My first AMD was Athlon T-Bird and it's been great. I'd buy AMD over Intel any day after the hassles I had with that stupid P2 Connection to the MOBO and having them change it so I couldn't even upgrade the processor.
