Apple (lack of) quality issues

I recently purchased a 20" iMac 2.1 Ghz. After wresttling with it for over five weeks, I returned it for a full refund. It constantly hesitated and froze up, was difficult to get it to maintain an online connection, and finally crashed completely when I sat down to prepare my taxes on January 1st. The ONLY reason I switched from a PC to a Mac was the supposed peace of mind and reliability that
Apple is rumored to have. I had one minor problem with my Dell in three years...I spent an unbelievable amount of time and effort trying to get a brand new computer to work properly.
I'm back to using my Dell and finally getting some work done.
