First Apple computer is the New Macbook Pro
For all the people that say they saved money purchasing a Dell over the new
Macbook Pro...

I want to start by saying I just purchased a Dell that was very much the same
internally as the last Intel based Macbook Pro. I did this last summer saving money
and upgrading it a bit. All I did was waste money instead of saving anything. From
the first day I was very unhappy with the Dell. From driver issues, to non dedicated
graphics card that would not even play Age of Empires 3. Plastic case that felt like
it could break at any moment. The screen had leaks, the battery was weak, and
the service from Dell has fallen very short over the last few years. Also be very
careful in the Dell screen resolution, at the suggested resolution on the new Dells,
there is a problem that causes webpages not to display correctly or at all! I
contacted Dell over 10 times and they told me there was nothing they could do.
They also told me they never heard that issue before but if you google the issue,
you find plenty of people with the same issue. I owned a Dell desktop for many
years, and just loved it. The Dell Inspiron e1505 was the worst I ever used.
I've had my Macbook Pro for less than a week and I only fall more in love with it by
the day. Dedicated graphics card for photoshop, OSX Tiger which I've never used
but feel very comfortable using day 1. Great screen, solid design and build. It
works flawlessly with my Firebox with no drivers needed, they were built into the
OS!

Anyone considering a new notebook really needs to give apple a look. You might
pay more now, but you do get what you pay for. And apple stands behind their
products and take pride in what they put out. And since now you can run windows
xp also, there really is no reason to waste you money on a cheaply made Dell...
