You are so wrong on so many levels...

We won't even discuss the FACT that Dell is one of the most unreliable notebook brands. That goes without saying.

Yeah. Never mind all of those reviews from trusted IT sites and publications all around, Dell just sucks. Because I said so. [/sarcasm]

Where? Most of the Dells (Inspirons) use the wonderful shared memory, not discrete graphics.

Funny, my E1705 seems to have "Geforce Go 7900 GS" graphics with 256 MB of dedicated memory. Weird.

And the XPS's are right along the same prices as the Macs.

...but you get superior overall performance... (Geforce Go 7950 GTX vs Mobility Radeon X1600?)

I think you should do your homework - for the money, the Macs are quite competitive with the good quality PC brands.

They're not. Dells beat them by a long shot, and Dells annihilate most others in build quality, support, reliability, etc.

They are more expensive than the garbage Dell makes, but if you want quality, you run away from Dell.

You've never touched a Precision M65, have you?
