Please quote your citation for the assertation that Dell is 2% higher than Apple. However, I live in the real world, and when we went from IBM to Dell, our support people have been much busier. Last article I saw had Apple and Lenovo tied for Top place, with HP/Compaq, Gateway and Dell bringing up the far far rear....

Let's see here - I did an Inspiron E1505 with the 2.13Ghz C2D (Dell doesn't have the faster chips) $1581 after 20% discount ($1976 regular). It does have a 2 year warranty vs Apple's 1 year. However the difference is $395, not $700.
