We won't even discuss the FACT that Dell is one of the most unreliable notebook brands. That goes without saying.

Where? Most of the Dells (Inspirons) use the wonderful shared memory, not discrete graphics.

And the XPS's are right along the same prices as the Macs.

I think you should do your homework - for the money, the Macs are quite competitive with the good quality PC brands (Lenovo/IBM, Toshiba, Fujitsu, etc). They are more expensive than the garbage Dell makes, but if you want quality, you run away from Dell.
