SCO claims IBM is dragging their feet--oh please
I find SCO and their preditory litigation fascinating. As director of technology and research for a law firm, I am well familiar with the federal litigation process.

It is evident that it was SCO that is dragging their feet as their responses have always been late and largely incomplete, or non-responsive. IBM in order to respond has to have something to respond to. SCO has made allegations and not much more. I am still waiting for SCO to provide the details of actual copyright violations.

The latest I saw was that SCO was trying for the look and feel approach which has not worked in previous litigation.

I think the judge is being very smart. Litigation of this nature is VERY expensive. IBM can wait forever, they have plenty of money for litigation. SCO is another story. Their pot of gold is starting to run dry and it does not look like a "white knight" is going to toss away more money.

McBride is nothing more than a gold-digger and much less a software author, programmer, or engineer. Time for SCO to go bye-bye.
