SunPower boosts solar panel output

Misinformed...

My relatives own a cabin and they are able to power the whole thing (fridge, tv, etc) using two solar panels, a single wind tower, and a silent generator.

And BTW...if you purchase the new flourescent bulbs you could power about 40-50 of those off of two 300 watt solar panels (as they only use ~10-15 watts each).

I think they said they use about $50-$100 per YEAR in power costs...due to the generator gas late at night. Obviously there is an initial outlay, but if they were less rural, they could probably even sell their unused energy back
and actually MAKE money off their solar panel setup.
