Which is....
The very same tactic that Microsoft used with the xbox 360. They
(Microsoft) had units shipped to retailers with "Do not sell before"
dates on them. That way they (Microsoft) could make the demand
seem artificially higher than it actually was. Also of note they
(Microsoft), did not deduct the failed units, when posting numbers.
So this is not something specific to Sony.
