interesting example of if we can do it then let's do it. this development bears no relationship to sharp's strategic direction of making lcd based TVs. World wide television is based upon standards-this tv doesn't conform to any standard. the cost of this display for niche markets such as medical is and will be prohibitive. as an engineering one off, it is interesting.
