Sony plans its own battery recall

So Sony is late to the table on

cleaning up their own mess. Bodes well for consumer confidence in their other business arenas. Hopefully the components inside the PS3 are in no way subject to sudden and rapid combustion, or bad power cords. What I've seen of Sony's activities in the music world, the price model in the electronics world, that little DRM patent they are clutching secretively to their chest, I won't be buying anything from soon, no matter what other people do with them and their plugs.
