- Still out of the loop, aren't you?

1) OS X 10.1, 10.2, and 10.3 all work fine on a 333 MHz G3 iMac and up, B&W tower Mac, G3 iBook, etc. I haven't met anyone that has had the issue.
2) You stated catagorically that the G5s in the Virginia Tech cluster weren't using any version of Mac OS X but were in fact using Linux. You must've had a minor heart attack or heartburn when the person who was in charge of the project stated that all the G5s were running Jaguar and that the G5s were going to have Panther installed on them soon.
3) Your mis-statements of the Photoshop optimization process when brought up on ZDNet a few weeks ago brought much scorn upon your veracity. Your continued attempts at proving your point made for much needed entertainment at the time.
Look, I can understand why you would like Linux. I was a long time Linux user (from 0.99) and am a registered Linux user on the counter project. However, the combination of geekhood and ease of use in OS X blows anything from the Linux or the BSD community out of the water. Maybe in a few years they'll get to where OS X is today.
OS X just works for me for what I do and nothing you say changes that fact for me... - Posted by: dscherf Posted on: 10/31/03 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
