Useless
First: Piggybacking 2 * 2 cores != quad core.

Second, Intel's piddly little FSB isn't going to perform any better while choking a quad core or a 2 * 2 core than it would while choking a 4 * 1 core (which it already does), or any other combination of Intel cores.

This is a poorly conceived piece of crap whose sole reason for existing is that Intel wants more attention, but it can't actually bring a real quad core processor to market today. It is a classic example of marketing driven engineering, which generally ends up leading to failure.

Actually, I wonder if Intel's "80 core CPU" will end up being 40 * 2 cores, or 20 *(2 * 2core). Probably won't matter. See the wattage on these babies going up? The 80 core cpu will likely melt like ice cream if anyone dares to plug it in.
