I don't think that performance scales much in games once you get past 2 cores, but feel free to prove me wrong. If you are on the client side of terminal services, more than 2 processors should not help you, and if you are on the server side...well, I already covered that it will help servers, didn't I?

Streaming media while doing other work again sees the biggest boon with 2 cores/processors. Going up from there does little to enhance the user experience.
