- Mainframe Multicore on Laptop

I use IBM's Rational Software Development Platform for web and programming work and see it could really benenfit from multicore. There is a mainframe version of the product that I assume already uses multicore because multicore and Java are kind of peas in the same pod and are decades proven on mainframes. Anyway, SAP, Oracle, and other mainframe oriented companies likely also have multicore utilizing software and development tools.
The transition can not be fast enough for me. Also, got to say the HP scandle has me waiting. I wasn't quite ready to go Apple and had settled in on the HP Duo's. Now I just can not see supporting the brand. Its a small thing I have done that makes me feel so clean. Good news on the Xmas launch. No one has ever suffered by waiting to make an electronics purchase.
