I didn't realize that Itanium was still around ....

What took Intel so long to wake up and realize that it botched Itanium so badly and go back to start to work on it again? SGI to the fall in the meantime.

With the failure of Itanium, we will have to tolerate the IA32 AM64T for another 5 to 10 years sad
