Unless Mark Hurd was DIRECTLY and EXPLICITLY involved with the planning and execution of the pretexting, he deserves a 100% pass. Can you blame him if a faulty batch of springs makes it into a production run of Laserjets ?? How about under-sizing a power supply for a server ??

NO CEO can be held responsible for behavior outside his immediate span of control. He is innocent until proven guilty, and should not be tried by the press, particularly when that press is highly biased due to the nature of the charges.
