We figgured it had to be so a week ago. Coyote, the press is not a court of law that requires proof. If it were there would never be any timely information. That information in needed for consumers and voters and shareholders in order to make decisions that matter. Right now, shareholder need to make a decision regarding the value management imparts to HP stock. If we take what happened at Martha Stewart Living, and can count on Dunn/Hurd to support their companies - by doing jail time, then long term there may be little stock impact.

Here is the thing. When a board member resigns it is a signal of potental wrong doing. You are required to file special reports with the stock exchange. Those reports were fudged. Neither Dunn nor Hurd is acceptable as an officer or director at any US traded corporation just because of that. Period. Both are to be recognized as yellow pants. Just like the mob, the guilty will release information when everyone is thinking of the weekend rather than investments. Argh.
