this is a pretty short-sighted statement
we're a big ibm/lenovo customer and everything we have seen indicates that operations is pretty much the same pre-lenovo. we've visted their headquarters before and after the transition and we did not see any major upheavals, like what we saw with HP/Compaq. Everything from the sales force to the manufacturing is the same. If there is an issue, I would say its from a component level and the battery manufacturer should be held responsible. many people hear "made in china" and they freak out. guess what... thinkpads have been made in china for over 10 years.
