Actually, Linux would be more of an energy waste
as told many times here, you don't have to reboot for anything and some of you have uptimes number in the years as posted before, not having to deal with no stinking rebooting patches or viruses cause crash and shutdown. A Linux box would be drinking power nonstop. And you wouldn't shut it down because then, your uptime numbers would be useful in an argument. Darn it.
