Let the market decide the issue
As a flag wavin' all 'Merican kind o' guy (got my Chevy pickup in the lot - none of that *** beercan stuff for me you betcha) I am right glad that Dell done see the light.

Yessir. Course, I been a DIY for years now - got tired of them store bought foreign built junkers.

And you better believe that I only buy from US based stores!

For those waiting for the punch line - the only US built part is the Crucial memory (and I don't even know about that - Micron had a plant but I'm not sure if they still use it). Just about all of the rest of the machine is built someplace else than here - all I did was put the parts together. Outsourcing has been around in the Tech sector for years now. This storm and thunder about tech jobs going to India is starting to sound a lot like the camp fire scene in Mel Brooks Blazing Saddles.

I didn't like getting laid off/downsized/riffed/letgo/fill in the blanks years ago. No one does. It happens - get over it.
