If one of HP's drive manufactureres does something wrong, they find another maker, but they don't fire the buyers or salespeople for pushing for the lowest prices at any cost.
They should be more concerned about the leaker. At least Dunn was looking out for HP's own interests and now her own.
If you contract out a third party and they are doing something illegal, then how should it be her fault unless she know that they were? Although it's hard to believe that she didn't know, but a slap on the wrist and a backroom thank-you might be in accord.
