Nah, laptor manufacturers will always go for the cheapest!
Now that the laptop prices are steadily driven down by everyone, the added expense of a more reliable harddrive isn't likely to be appreciated enough by the majority of idi...I mean consumers who only look at the megahertz numbers and the gigabytes the drive can hold. Unless they can keep the prices low, extra durability and quality will only be appreaciated by those who already had the unfortunate XP of having an HD die on them.
