My next one will be...
An Athlon64.

I used Athlon's for years until about 1 year ago when I built the current 2.5Ghhz P4 system. I went back to Intel at the time solely because it was a better overall purchase at that point. This was during the time when AMD forgot it's customers and who got them where they were.

Now the AMD Athlon64 is the better buy again. Not to mention who the hell can figure out Intel these days. Changing to prevent confusing customers? Paleeease... Prescott is a disaster. It's barely as fast as what it replaces and runs hot as hell.

I just need to decide if I want to wait for the new Athlon64 socket and PCIExpress before building up again.
