Mac's are starting to get my attention
Not sure how many of you have been in an Apple store but you got to admit, it is very impressive. The products look great, OSX is amazing and the store layout and people are inviting.

I contrasted that to my visit to the new Dell store (same mall here in Dallas) and it was night and day. It reminded me when I visited Berlin in 1993 - East Berlin was dark, grey, boring while West Berlin was lively, colorful and exciting.

I analyzed the transition to Apple for my 4Q upgrade (which I do every 2-3 yrs) and unfortuneately for me, I am a victim of the Windows success and will continue with the Windows environment. Compatibility, familiarity and application availability on Windows still outweigh going Apple/OSx.

I might still flip if Vista does not deliver but many should really consider going Apple if most/all of the applications used are the usual suspects (browser, work processor, etc). At the very least, visit an Apple store.
