With headphones, the K5 can play for 30 hours, Samsung said. But in speaker mode that time is whittled down to six hours.

Six hours isn't quite a full day's work, or an all night rave unless you start late. If you're going to use those speakers, you better have some spare batteries ready, assuming the batteries can be changed.

On second thought, if this thing is as big as the original iPod you should probably use that instead. At least the iPod can be accesorised with speakers.
